HEAT PUMP FOR HEATING DHW (DOMESTIC HOT WATER)

ACOND TUV 250 – Boiler with integrated heat pump

Can a heat pump be used to heat DHW?

Heat Pump for Heating DHW

This highly efficient heat pump can heat a 250 l boiler to 60º Celsius and is very compact  in design, allowing for easy placement and  handling. It contains an auxiliary electric boiler with a 1.5 kW output. Other parameters are as follows: input 810 W, heating output 2.6 kW, noise 49 dB, size 56x195cm.

What are the main advantages of the ACOND heat pump as compared to other air pumps?

The biggest advantage is division of structure. Other systems have their whole heating pump equipment outside the house, which means that if the water freezes, the whole equipment is destroyed. Outside heat pumps also have higher heat losses. Heating systems completely located inside the house require large space. Further more they blow off air, which under certain conditions freezes and damages the façade. All the above mentioned shortcomings of the inside and outside heating pumps are solved by the system division. One part remains inside the house and another part is placed outside. The water is always inside and cannot freeze. The ACOND heat pump occupies only minimum space inside and the air does not have to be brought in and taken out by huge half meter bore hoses. Divided structure is clearly the most advantageous. ACOND has been developed and tested for environmental conditions in the Czech Republic. The research leader Ing. Jiří Hanus is an authorized technician who has been specializing in heating and air-conditioning for 40 years and has successful experience in the profession.
